Interests and future career goals
I am a food security enthusiast. I am passionate about mentorship,
research and training in matters in soil fertility and crop health
in smallholder farming systems. Making use of every opportunity to
make the world a better place is my driving force. My current
research on sustainable soil and pest management strategies
contributes to bridging the knowledge and technical gaps in the
agricultural field in Kenya and globally especially in the phase of
climate change and shrinking land sizes. Active participation in
farmer led research for development, research fellowships and
conferences will spearhead my career growth as a lead soil and plant
health specialist. I target to work with research and training
institutions as a way of capacity building so that jointly we can
end hunger
